Rudarska greblica

salty cake from cheese and walnuts or cheese and vegetables. Today's gastronomy specialty, listed in the non-material cultural heritage of Croatia, used to be the inevitable part of the meal of the miners working in the mines.

This autochthonous gastronomic product of the Zagreb County, the popular Rudarska greblica, has been granted a protected designation of geographical origin at the European level in February 2021. With this label, Rudarska greblica becomes the 29th Croatian product with a protected name, and the first protected gastronomic product in the Zagreb County.

Pukšar Mill

the last water-powered mill on the Gradna creek. The mill was built in 1843, ceased working in 2003, and went into a decline since. The Conservation department of Zagreb and Cultural Association Oštrc  were renovating it from 2013 until 2015. The mill was declared a protected heritage of the Republic of Croatia in 2013.
